Poojya Guruji Swami Atmanandaji conducted a six days GITA GYANA YAGNA at Manas Bhawan – of Hindi Sahitya Samiti, at RNT Marg, Indore, from 22nd to 27th Oct 2017. This was the fifth year in that location, and as every year P. Guruji is taking a chapter, so this year was the fifth chapter of Bhagwad Gita, the Karma Sanyas Yoga.
All the six days of the Gyana Yagna there was a sponsor, who did the Vyasa Peeth Puja and later the Gita Aarti.

Poojya Swamini Samatanandaji conducted a six days GITA GYANA YAGNA at Barbil, in Orissa state, from 2nd to 7th Oct, 2017. This was a first such program in the Divine Life Society Center there. The subject matters were Gita Chapter-1 and Kathopanishad 1-1. The organizers did their best, and it was an overall a very satisfactory program. The place is surrounded by hills and forests. It is well-known for mining. There are lovely sight-seeing places all over and the organizers took P. Swaminiji around too.

Earlier P. Swaminiji reached Bhubaneswar from Indore, by flight, and then next day drove to Barbil, in a 6-7 hours drive by road. The roads were very nice. Alongwith P. Swaminiji, Swami Sreenivasanandaji (from Bhubaneswar) and Sh Rajesh Kumar (from Lucknow) also accompanied. The main host was Sh Ramakant Raut, who has his mining business in Barbil, and is also the President of DLS, Barbil. A very sincere & dedicated person, looking after everyone very nicely. On the way to Barbil, they had darshan of Tarani Mata.

The stay was in the Ashram campus in the Guest Room. The Sivananda Samskrutik Kendra is a nice open & green place. Next day the pravachans began in the morning.
During one of the days Ramakantji took P.Swaminij and the guests for sight-seeing around Barbil. They went to get darshan of Muruga Mahadev, a lovely temple deep inside forests and having waterfall etc. On another day they went to see the Sunset Point near Kiriburu.
The devotees were very gratified for the enlightening discourses and gave a very warm send-off to the visiting Mahatmas.
