Gita Gyana Yagna, Ahmedabad

Poojya Swamini Amitanandaji conducted a five days GITA GYANA YAGNA at ‘Samutkarsh Academy’ Ahmedabad from 18th June to 23rd Aug 2017. The 3rd discourse series was organized at this place. Samutkarsh is a premier ‘Center for Holistic Living’. The subject matter of the twin discourse series were Gita Chapter 3rd ‘Karma Yog’ in evening session and ‘Shiv Upasana Aadharit Dhyan’ in morning session. Both the sessions were in Gujarati and were appreciated. In her pravachans on the third chapter Poojya Swaminiji talked about the art of doing karma as revealed in the Gita, which was very inspiring for all. The topic of Yagna-Bhava was very fascinating & motivating. All pravachans were in Gujrati language.


During one of the days a Shiv Puja and Abhishek was organized at the residence of Radhikaben, were many of his friends & relatives brought their Shiv-Lingas and Swaminiji directed them to do the puja in this holy month of Savan. Abhishek was done with the chanting of ‘Kaivalya Upanishad’ which is also known as ‘Shat Rudri’.

Gita Gyana Yagna, Bharuch

A week-long ‘Gita Gyana Yagna’ by Poojya Swamini Amitanandaji was organized at Pritam Community Hall, Kasak in Bharuch from 24th to 30th July 2017. The subject-matter of the twin discourse series were: Gita Chapter 2nd and Drig Drisya Vivek.

This yagna was organized by Sh. Manoj Kulchandani & his family. Kulchandani brothers lighted the lamp in the beginning of the Yagna and did Vyas peeth pooja. Mr. Kalapi who is the well-known interior desogner welcomed every one. The 2nd chapter of Bhagwad Gita is about the Sankhya Yoga, in which God revels the whole journey from Samsari to an enlightened person. This is the starting of teaching of Gita, where Arjuna surrendered to God and ask about Dharm

a which leads to freedom. Poojya Swaminiji explained very nicely. The morning text was Drig Dryshya Viveka of Adi Sankaracharya. In this text Acharya revealed seer & seen discrimination. All p

Mahashivratri (Vedanta) Camp – Feb 2017

A six days residential Mahashivratri (Vedanta) Camp is being organized at the Vedanta Ashram, Sudama Nagar, Indore. The Camp will be of five days from 19th to 24th Feb 2017, and the conclusion will be with the celebration of Mahashivratri on the 24th Feb.

Camp Acharyas:

The pravachans will be conducted by Poojya Guruji Swami Atmanandaji and Poojya Swamini Amitanandaji. The Meditation and Chanting sessions will be by Poojya Swamini Samatanandaji, while the Puja sessions will be guided by Poojya Swamini Poornanandaji.

Venue :

Vedanta Ashram, E/2948, Sudama Nagar, Indore-452009 (MP)

Subjects :

Pravachans on Brahmanande Vishayananda ( Panchadashi Ch-14); and Pravachans on ‘Values’ in Gita Chapter-13 (sloka 7 to 11)‘.

All the sessions will be in Hindi.

Who can apply:

Any healthy, sincere devotee who can live in the simple & austere atmosphere of an Ashram, without any complaints & problems, and wish to study Vedanta at the feet of traditional teachers can apply. The campers will have to stay inside the venue for all these six days. They will be given rooms with twin sharing. There are few rooms with atached bath/Lat, while others have common bath/lat facilities. No outing during the camp is allowed, and if at all there is some emergency they will take permission of the Acharyas to go out.

No outside food is permitted or encouraged. The timings of food & tea is fixed, and the menu is simple & sattwic. Filtered water is available 24×7.

Campers should be ready to serve in whatever way necessary to help keep the place clean & quiet.

All campers will have to attend all the classes and should be punctual to be in the class few minutes before.

Campers will just have to bring their minimum necessary clothes and toiletries. Bedding will be provided by the Ashram.

Routine :

6.00 AM – Meditation

6.30 – Tea

6.45 – Chanting

8.00 – Breakfast

9.00 – Two Pravachans on the ‘Brahmanande Vishayananda‘ (by Poojya Guruji)

12.30 – Lunch

4.00 PM – Tea

5.00 – Pravachan on ‘Values’ Gita Chapter-13 (sloka 7 to 11)‘ (by Swamini Amitanandaji)

6.30 – Temple Aarti

7.30 – Dinner

8.30 – Bhajan / Que & Ans / Cultural events

10.00 – Lights off

Travel Plans:

The Campers will have to reach the venue latest by 18th Feb evening and can leave by 25th Feb as per their conveniences. Any change will have to be notified earlier.
